My life

Halloween celebration

Since Covid-19 was around, let’s talk about how people celebrated Halloween this year. Most people did drive-through. On Forest Cove Lane, people decorated their houses and did social distancing trick or treat. We did the drive-through called Haunt-o-ween. I was so excited. We have been planning since we heard about it. Dad booked the tickets and set a reminder on the calendar on the phone. Since grandpa and grandma were here, we wanted to show them the Halloween experience. Each person signed their signature on the computer. When dad booked a ticket for me, he had to sign his signature. When the day came – 10/27/2020, I could scarcely breathe in all the excitement. When the time came to leave, I dressed up in my Halloween costume. We went to the Haunt-o-ween location and cars were lined up. We went to the drive-thru and saw pumpkins, spiders, ghosts, and skeletons. I got a bucket full of candy because they were passing out lots of candy! We also got a pumpkin and some tortilla chips. I could not even lift my candy bucket! But I somehow managed to carry it inside and put it down on the counter. Then, I went and changed into my pajamas because it was cold. I got my bag of tortilla chips and sat down and turned on the TV and went to Netflix and put my favorite movie on. The next day, we carved the pumpkin we got from Haunt-o-ween. I drew the design, while my dad carved it. Our jack-o’-lantern looked extremely scary. It was a great experience

I created this short clip for Halloween…Hope you like it
